How will students be assessed for GCSE Mathematics? 

Examination board: Edexcel  (1MA1)

Students will be assessed by completing three written papers:  

Paper 1 – Non Calculator (1 hour 30mins)  

Paper 2 – Calculator (1 hour 30mins)  

Paper 3 – Calculator (1 hour 30mins)  

Each paper has a total of 80 marks  

How will students be assessed for A Level Mathematics? 

Examination board: Edexcel  QN: 603/1333/X (9MA0)

Students will be assessed by completing three written papers:  

Paper 1 – Pure Mathematics (2 hours)  

Paper 2 – Pure Mathematics (2 hours)

Paper 3 – Mechanics/Statistics (2 hours)

Each paper has a total of 100 marks  

How will students be assessed for A Level Further Mathematics? 

Examination board: Edexcel  QN: 603/1499/0 (9FM0 C0)

Students will be assessed by completing three written papers:  

Paper 1 – Core Pure 1 (1hour 30 mins)  

Paper 2 – Core Pure 2 (1hour 30 mins)  

Paper 3A – Further Pure Mathematics 1 (1hour 30 mins)

Paper 3C – Further Mechanics 1 (1hour 30 mins)

Each paper has a total of 75 marks
