Year 1
In Year 1 we carefully support the transition between EYFS and KS1. Continuous provision continues initially and there is a phased introduction of the Year 1 learning styles.
We maintain a practical approach to learning, with exciting topics such as ‘Moon Zoom’ and a visit to a farm.
Pupils continue to have weekly swimming and PE lessons in KS1, utilising the many sports facilities onsite.
Class music lessons commence in Year 1 with a specialist music teacher.
