Lichfield

Lichfield house is situated in the heart of the main school building. Its sloping roof makes it very distinctive from all other structures and is currently home to girls in Years 7 to 13.

The common room is the focal point of the house where our daily house meetings are held and where a number of activities and parties take place.

The house has a very warm and friendly atmosphere and the boarders soon settle in and infuse their characters into the house by playing music, using the treadmill, playing table tennis or hosting film nights.

We begin with our ‘Getting to Know You’ activity on the first night and host a range of activities during the week to encourage the boarders o develop other skills or perhaps try out activities for the first time, including indoor hockey, chocolate bingo, face painting, basketball and many more.

At the weekend we take advantage of the free time to invest in cultural enrichment opportunities by visiting several UK cities like London, Manchester, Liverpool, Cambridge, and weather permitting – a visit to the seaside.

All staff are very committed to helping and encouraging to every boarder to reach their full potential, and we take pride in making their time here a positive and memorable experience.
