The Arts

Music, drama and the arts form an important part of our school life.  Each year group has weekly singing or music lessons, designed to develop musical understanding and embed a love of the arts.  In addition, children have regular opportunities to perform in plays, performing arts concerts and other productions.  Art and design also forms a key part of curricular and extracurricular life, with regular house art competitions.

Peripatetic music lessons in drums, guitar, piano, violin, flute and singing are also available from Year 1 and children are able to work towards Associated Board or Trinity College music exams.

Our extended day includes a range of opportunities for each year group to be involved in the arts at all levels, both experiencing and developing new skills.
